- Developing and implementing product strategies consistent with company vision.
- Collecting and analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.
- Working with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps.
- Leading product managers and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Producing and reviewing product requirements documents (PRD).
- Ensuring products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
- Making creative recommendations to expand product base and vision.
- Suggesting ways to track product use and impact on end users.
- Researching and analyzing market trends.
- Evaluating competition.
job qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is often required.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript is usually required. Knowledge of other languages such as C#, PHP, or Ruby may also be beneficial.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is often required.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is often required.
- Software engineers should be able to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, as well as develop and implement effective solutions.
- Good communication skills are important for collaborating with other developers, stakeholders, and clients.
